Kate is a New Hampshire native, born in the Manchester area and now resides in the Lakes Region.
Kate received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. During college, Kate held positions on the Executive Boards of Colleges Against Cancer and Up ‘Til Dawn, volunteer programs created to raise proceeds for the American Cancer Society and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, respectively. Before attending law school, Kate worked in human resources departments for a ski resort and a local government in Colorado. These positions provided her experience in a range of employment issues, including employee benefits, work visas, policy review, recruiting, and workplace investigations.
Kate received her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 2021. While attending law school, she served as an Associate Editor on the Duquesne Law Review, a Teaching Assistant in the Legal Research and Writing Department, and as a Research Assistant in Property Law and Artificial Intelligence Law. In her first year of law school, she received the Best Brief Award in her Legal Research and Writing class, as well as a CALI Excellence for the Future Award. During her summer breaks from law school, she returned to New Hampshire to work as a legal intern at NHLA and the Attorney General’s Office.
In her free time, Kate enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and spending time on the lake with her family and dog.
