Scott was raised in Gilford, New Hampshire, and is the son of Leslie and Doctor Mark Aronson. Scott graduated from New Hampton School in 1996 and received his B.A. in Economics, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Saint Lawrence University in 2001. While at Saint Lawrence, Scott became a member of Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society as well as Omicron Delta Epsilon International Economics Honor Society.
Scott received his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law graduating Sum Cum Laude in 2006. At Pepperdine, Scott was a Senior Staff Editor of the Pepperdine Law Review. In Scott’s second year of law school, his article, ERISA’s Equitable Illusion: The Unjust Justice of Section 502(A)(3), was published in the 2005 Employee Rights and Employment Policy Journal. In 2006 he received the Jeffrey S. Turner Outstanding Commercial Law Student Award from the Los Angeles County Bar Association. During all three years of law school, Scott was also a member of the Pepperdine men’s lacrosse team and became a member of the Order of the Coif, an honorary scholastic society of law schools.
Scott clerked for Normandin, Cheney & O'Neil in the summer of 2004 and returned to the firm in 2006 where he concentrates his practice on corporate and commercial law. He was admitted to both the New Hampshire Bar and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire in October of 2006. Additionally, Scott is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association and the Belknap County Bar Association. Scott is also on the Board of Directors for Lakes Region United Way.
Scott and his wife currently reside in the Lakes Region with their two dogs where they enjoy hiking and spending time on Squam Lake.
